Govt. involves PSUs for Aakash Tablet 2

As the Aakash tablet have been stuck into one after other controversy, India's HRD ministry is keen to involve public sector undertakings like Industrial Training Institutes(ITI), Bharat Electrical Limited (BEL) and Centre for Development of Advaned Computing (CDAC) instead of the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology(IITs) institutions for the procurement and distribution of cheap Aakash tablets.

The Govt. has already stated its plans to provide millions of Aakash tablets to college going students in the next five years. Its unfortunate that IIT, Jodhpur, which had been envisaged with the task of managing and testing the previous version of Aakash has not able to deliver tablets to college students.

As the quality of Aakash tablet is an important issue, the tablet's advanced version is expected to perform fairly in all the conditions of India, in desert areas to plains to high rain zone areas.
